Recently, JCB solemnly announced that the award-winning electric micro dig ushered in an important milestone - the 1000th electric micro dig went offline in mass production!

In 2019, JCB took the lead in mass production of all electric micro dig 19C-1E in the world. Now, the staff of JCB Compact, located in Cheadle, Staffordshire, are gathered to celebrate the milestone of the 1000th 19C-1E equipment coming off the line.

We are pleased to see the great success of JCB's pure electric micro dig. Facts have proved that JCB's pure electric micro dig 19C-1E is popular with users all over the world, especially in North America, France and the United Kingdom. These places have an increasing demand for the use of zero emission equipment in urban environments.

Chairman of JCB Group: Lord Bamford

JCB has always been at the forefront of the development of electric technology to meet customers' demand for zero emission products. JCB also took the lead in introducing power solutions for small electric equipment.

The 19C-1E is much quieter than the diesel engine powered model. It can be fully charged in two hours. One full shift operation can be completed after one charge. The 19C-1E is most popular inside buildings, in emission and noise sensitive urban areas, and is ideal for working indoors or outdoors, in factories, tunnels or basements, in digging foundations, or in utility projects.

In 2019, The Royal Automobile Club of the United Kingdom awarded JCB 19C-1E the most prestigious honor in the automotive industry - "Dewar Award for Outstanding Technical Achievement in the British Automotive Industry" ", in recognition of JCB's contribution to the development of electrification. In 2020, the Royal Academy of Engineering announced that 19C-1E was awarded the MacRobert Award. Since 1969, the award aims to award innovation awards for various engineering achievements, including CT scanners and Rolls Royce Pegasus engines for Harrier jets and other prestigious innovative products.
